The Birth of Rivers

Rivers begin in areas of high elevation, like mountains or hills, where rain water and melting snow accumulate.These water sources then flow downhill forming small streams which gather together eventually creating rivers. This piece was hand-built and sculpted in Professional Earthstone, decorated with white porcelain slip, underglaze and gold lustre.
